FIELDS at Mercury Lounge

Ever since I saw FIELDS open for Bloc Party in Glasgow I've had a slight obsession with their absolutely beautiful wall of noise that they create live. It was nice to see them at the Barrowlands but even nicer to see them Saturday night at Mercury Lounge.

Playing for around 45 minutes with a combination of tracks from their album "Everything Last Winter" as well as from their EP "7 From The Village" was just perfection. Unfortunately, the US tour has ended but I would highly recommend seeing them when they come back. Plus, according to my friend Bob, the keyboard player is "hot!" and he doesn't normally like blondes.

Here is an MP3 of "Song For The Fields"
