This Is Pete Doherty Reporting From Babyshambles...

If only I could understand exactly what Pete says in this video I could let you know what its about. Although listening to him talk in some odd accents throughout the footage is quite entertaining.

We do learn that he has tested clean in the last 3 weeks and he really enjoys smelling that cat...

Babyshambles Fan Steals The Show

Pete really paved the way for this kid to make a name for himself when he was ill for his gig the other night. I think the fact that he was chosen from the audience and had the balls to get onstage and sing/play guitar as good as he did was impressive!

Pete Doherty Could Lose His Job...

In spite of Pete Doherty's illness, the remaining members of Babyshambles took it upon themselves to perform a show without him. Without their singer? Yes.

Incredibly, an 18 year old fan named Jamie Bell knew how to not only play some of the band's tracks on guitar but he knew all the words to them too! Taking over, Jamie was met with a huge applause at London's O2 Arena for his Shambles knowledge.

That could be the coolest thing...ever. Its like that movie Rockstar but actually true. Now they know who to use for backup in case it ever happens again!

Amy Winehouse was apparently off her rocker when she sang her hit "Back To Black" and sounded well, horrible. See for yourself...



Babyshambles did an incredible version of "Delivery" and it might be the case that Pete is clearly off the drugs (he gained some weight...woohoo!!!!!!!)

So much for keeping the new Babyshambles record from leaking! "Shotter's Nation" is now out and about on the internet for all the world to download.

Yes, I downloaded it. Yes, I will be buying it day of release. Please note: its amazing. The record is downright amazing...it blows my mind that Pete can be as crazy as he is and still manage to make his way into the recording studio to make an album.

Who cares how he does it...just buy the import on October 1st!

Oh how I love Babyshambles...even though Pete Doherty gets arrested more times a day than I can count on one hand and they are constantly arriving at their gigs late (*cough* 4 hours late to V Festival *cough*).

At the end of the day, who cares? All I care about is the new video for "Delivery", the first single from the upcoming album "Shotters Nation".

Babyshambles At Brixton Academy

Sorry for the lack of updates...I've been on vacation and its been a bit hard to get to the computer and update the blog. On Sunday, February 18th Babyshambles (actually) played a fucking phenomenal show at Brixton Academy for the NME Shockwave Awards.

The show started out a bit late as Pete showed up to the venue right as the band was supposed to go on. There was a bit of a scare that the show was going to end quickly with Pete walking off stage after 2 songs due to the crowd getting a bit rowdy.

The show continued as the band played a set of Babyshambles hits, complete with Kate Moss coming on stage for her part on "La Belle Et La Bête" (with a very nice ensemble of course) and also playing a song "they've never played before", Wolfman came on stage and performed "For Lovers".

Of course, no Babyshambles show would be complete without a couple of old school Libertines tunes...which they definitely played. Doing "Time For Heroes" the crowd went NUTS!

Fuck Forever could have been the best track of the night with the crowd screaming along the whole time.

I never ever thought I'd see Babyshambles but thank god I did...it was worth the wait.
