Art Brut: The Blog

Eddie Argos wins the award for most-blogging musician. After donating his typing and wit duties to the Guardian earlier this summer, he's now part of the NME Rock 'n Roll Riot USA Tour blog, which also features the daily(ish) musings from tourmates 1990s, The Hold Steady and hopefully their US tour support, LA-locals The Blood Arm.

Here's a sneak peek of what's been going on so far in the words of Mister Argos...

You're Supposed To Be My Friend...

Ladies and gentleman meet 1990s. Straight out of Glasgow, the band is fronted by Jackie McKeown (formerly of The Yummy Fur), has already received a ton of buzz and has fans in Beth Ditto from the Gossip and Kate Jackson from the Long Blondes.

Here is the video for their single "You're Supposed To Be My Friend":

Check out their MySpace page or their official site also.

One last thing...they are playing NYC! April 4th at Bowery Ballroom. You can purchase tickets HERE

Its currently out in the UK through Rough Trade...and did I mention they have one of the best band logos ever?
