Nine Inch Nails Announce Their Last Ever Shows

Trent Reznor has changed his mind about Nine Inch Nails' final live show being at Bonnaroo earlier this summer...and he's announced 10 shows to prove it. Playing their last ever shows, the band will hit several different venues in New York and Los Angeles, while playing 2 shows in Chicago at the same venue.

8/23/09 NY, NY Webster Hall
8/25/09 NY, NY Terminal 5
8/26/09 NY, NY Terminal 5

The Horrors Live At Pianos

I have a love/hate relationship with The Horrors as the last time I saw them it was a red hot mess and it truly sucked (Studio B during CMJ). This time around they played Pianos to a semi packed house and it could have been one of the most interesting/amusing shows I've ever seen.

The Horrors definitely know how to put on a show even though the music isn't honestly all there to back them up. Faris comes out to the audience and decides to start mosh pits and hang on ceilings which makes for a nice visual. When it comes to image the band are on point.

Highlight of the night was when Faris grabbed a little dancing girl and her friend tried to join in on the fun...when she did she slipped and fell flat on her ass. Call me evil but I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

Here is the setlist:

and a little visual of the craziness that is Faris Rotter

Well, the Horrors have given us a revised list of the dates they will play this summer across the US. One wonders what happened... were the UK Cramps fanclub too frightening for our black rebels? Or was did their Jack the Ripper gear reek of non-rebellious fop? I got my money on Peter accidentally losing control of his bike (yes, it's black). Hey, it happens.
