Portishead Will Premiere Third On TV

Portishead are back and ready to premiere their album Third on April 11th. The band will be performing 8 songs lie in their home town of Somerset exclusively for Current TV.

The good news is if you miss the performance on the 11th you can catch it for up to 3 weeks after.

Third is in stores April 28th.

Portishead Premiere New Video

Its been a long time since Portishead have released an album (10 years to be exact) and have made a new video for their first single, "Machine Gun".

The single will be out on April 14th in the UK and its as gorgeous as ever.

Portishead Confirmed For 2008 Coachella

The confirmations are in! Portishead are one of the first bands to be confirmed to headline Saturday night at Coachella this year.

The full line up will be announced tomorrow and there will surely be a ton of incredible surprises.

My guesses are My Bloody Valentine and The Verve as headliners...or at least at the top of the Coachella list. Also, the lovely Kate Nash is confirmed wooohooo!!

Pack your bags and get ready for the desert...its going to be another good year for the festival.
