The Pipettes Lose Two Founding Members

The Pipettes go through member changes like people go through underwear. This time around two of the founding members, RiotBecki and Rosay have moved on to pursue other musical pursuits.

The two new members are Ani and Anna, surely just as cute as the two that left. Of course, those little polka dot numbers really do help with the "cute factor".

The departing members will remain friends with the band still and apparently Rosay and RiotBecki's new stuff will be "brilliant". We will just have to wait and see.

America Get Ready - Its The Pipettes Invasion

June 5th is a very important day for US Pipettes fans! Their debut EP "Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me" will see its US release through Cherrytree/Interscope records.

On August 28th their full length debut "We Are The Pipettes" will be released as well. I mean a year later and stuff but come on...we ALL have the import.

The Pipettes Sign a US Deal

I'm been raving about The Pipettes for quite some time as I'm a sucker for anything that is catchy. Since I heard "Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me" I was always thinking why these 3 broads weren't signed to a major and gtting some US love.

Well, they've officially linked a deal with Cherrytree Records, an imprint of Interscope Records and home to Feist as well.

They've got some US dates and will definitely be an act to watch at SXSW.

"We Are The Pipettes" will be out sometimes in the summer. Look out for an LA date coming your way as well...

Amy Winehouse and The Pipettes Play NYC Together

Amy Winehouse is coming back to NYC on her album release date, March 13th! Considering the Joe's Pub gig was absolutely fantastic is is one show I would suggest not missing.

Make sure to go early and catch The Pipettes as this will be their first ever NYC performance. They will also be playing SXSW!
