Black Kids Announce 2009 Tour With Mates Of State

Black Kids seem to really like touring as they played what feels like a million times in the NY area last year. Now the 5 piece with the odd name are back for another round with Mates Of State.

What's in store for the Black Kids in 2009? Maybe playing NY another 10 times...but for now we will have to wait and see.

Likely Looks: Black Kids - Look At Me (When I Rock Witchoo)

Black Kids get their 80's on with their new video Look At Me (When I Rock Whicoo). The visuals are quite sweet and its a reminder of how awesome music videos used to be with their super cool green screens.

Black Kids Join The Columbia Roster

Black Kids have just announced that they are joining the Columbia Records family and will be releasing their album "Partie Traumatic" through the label. They join the Almost Gold family outside of North America too...so its one big Sony party!

Columbia has gotten a bit cooler over the years thanks to Almost Gold and a few key Columbia releases. Congrats to them...I guess they are the new home for bands that should have stayed indie.

Black Kids are on tour with Cut Copy* too. Here are the dates:
