Speaking to EW.com, Scott Kannberg (guitarist of Pavement) said, "Matador is having a 20th anniversary party soon, so maybe we'll try to do something for that. The only hurdle might be getting everyone to drop what they're doing, but I'm sure the excitement of playing again will make it OK."

My name is Matt and I work for a small Bristol(UK) based new media promo set up called Hyperlaunch.
We are in the process of trying to improve our contacts with the Blog world and hoped that you might be up for us contacting you again in the future – with MP3’s, free download links, gig tickets (UK only) and info on acts and releases that might be appropriate for your blog. We are researching in detail – so you should only get stuff you are likely to be interested in and there would obviously be no obligation to feature and there won’t be any PR style follow up’s if you don’t use anything – we are just trying to find folk who might be up for developing a relationship with us.
We work with a wide variety of labels and artists – but the roster currently includes: Gravenhurst, Remi Nicole, Nine Black Alps, The Hives, Hard Fi, Kate Walsh, PJ Harvey, Akala, Wallis Bird, Catherine Feeny, Massive Attack, Brown Punk, Ruarri Joseph, Satin Peaches, Paul Steel and The Rumblestrips. We have also recently worked on campaigns from Rufus Wainright, Common, Pharaohe Monch and Amy Winehouse.
We are looking at developing a bloggers music portal also and it would be great to hear back from you on any of this stuff if you feel the inclination.
