The Kinks Are Reuniting Too? Damn...
Well, the great ol' "jump to conclusions" source, NME.com, is reporting that indeed legendary '60s pop-invaders, The Kinks, are eager to reunite in support of their career-encompassing box-set, Retrospective.
Ray Davies spoke to NME.com saying, "I spoke to Quaife [bass] about a month ago and he dearly wants to make another record with me," said Davies. "I think Dave's [Davies] getting better and Mick's [drums] still playing. It would be great to get back together just to see what musical ideas we had and what would happen."
Solo records not selling, Ray? Seems a shame to have to pull together after his brother Dave is still recovering from a stroke. But, hey, if Dick Clark can do it, so can they... I guess.
x,
