The Maccabees Live At The Knitting Factory

The Maccabees have been a favorite of mine ever since I laid eyes on the "First Love" video months and months ago. Hailing from (of course) the UK, these 5 Brits finally brought their fantastic pop punk britpop fusion over to this side of the Atlantic for a short tour with Bloc Party and The Noisettes.

Making a quick NYC stop at the Knitting Factory on June 6th proved to be a spectacular debut as The Maccabees went above and beyond all expectations in their live show. Full of energy, they bounced around singing tracks from their debut album Colour It In as I sang and danced along with them.

Honestly, this is one of the finest debuts ever and a band that is going to blow your mind once you really give them a chance. So, give them a chance!!!!!!
