The View at Mercury Lounge

The View made their very first appearance Stateside at Mercury Lounge on January 2nd to an industry crowd the clapped just about as loud as a pin dropping but that didn't stop the show being anything short of fantastic.

Walking onstage to a packed house, the band played the following set:

'Coming Down'
'Screaming And Shouting'
'Dance Into The Night'
'Wasted Little DJs'
'The Don'
'Skag Trendy'
'Wasteland'
'Posh Boys'
'Same Jeans'
'Superstar Tradesman'

Most of the audience didn't understand them but who cared?! They looked fantastic, sounded even better and are going to be a music force to be reckoned with in 2007. The View really are on fire.
