The Stone Roses Reunite...Well Sort Of

If only I could turn back time and buy a plane ticket to Manchester 3 days ago I would have witnessed one of the most exciting things in years. 3 days ago Ian Brown and Mani took the stage together with peter Hook (from New Order) and Andy Rourke (The Smiths) to perform "I Am The Resurrection".

The gig was for Manchester vs Cancer and saw a ton of other amazing performances including Noel Gallagher (who did a duet with Paul Weller on The Jam classic "The Butterfly Collector"), Peter Hook joining Echo and the Bunnyment for "Lips Like Sugar" and McAlmont and Butler performing with Andy Rourke to do "Still Ill" and "Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me"

Now...that just sounds like my idea of the best night ever...
